One Woman. One Show. In under One Hour.
“Mindful. That’s the buzz word, the goal, the answer on ‘how to live a more balanced, meaningful life.’
My mind is already full. All the time. I have a mental illness. I live with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, or GAD. I’ve felt different from other people since I was a kid. This is a long time to wonder ‘What’s wrong with me? Why am I like this? Did I do something to make me this way?” – Rina, MiND FuLL
MiND FuLL invites audiences to join actor/writer Rina Varley as she navigates her way through life with the wallflower of mental illnesses, Generalized Anxiety Disorder. From kindergarten, to co-ed chaos, to carving out corporate success, the mental and physical fatigue of GAD results in Rina’s dreams being derailed. In this heart-warming dramedy, Rina shines light on her own journey, working to help people with GAD and those around them, better understand what life is like on the inside of this disorder. Audiences will cheer as Rina celebrates her inspiring revelation that, underneath all her negative beliefs, worries and fears, lives someone wonderful–her own strong, gifted self.
